The obstacles during create this blog...

Hello, this is the final entry that I have to make. There are many difficulties that I surely cannot cope without my other two friends which sharing their cooperation and love,we finally have complete our task.

First of all, neither three of us have done blogging before. So it is rather difficult for us to start blogging.Once we was told to do this task,we thought that it was the dead end.Luckily, there is Madam Rosiah that guides us to do it in the correct way and we are very lucky to have classmate's advice that have done blogging before .
Other than that, this blog created by three person and the problem is not three of us are in the same room , so it is difficult to share or give the idea when creating this blog. Lastly, we manage to divide this tasks so that everyone can post something regardless by our condition.
Other than that,as a student, our time are very limited with assignments, coursework and tutorial .So, we never have extra time to do the blog.Still,we have to divide our time wisely so that there are much time to do this blog and also the other important work.Once we can keep the pace with  blogging and our studies, we find it is  much easier from what we thought.Lastly,English is a compulsury in this task because this blog is created under Fundamental English subject, so it is clearly stated that we must post the blog in English term. I mean, I have no problem with that but it is more satisfying to convey the message and facts in Malay. I thought the message will be easier to reach the readers but, what is the point of creating this blog if we do not use and improve our English to the higher level, right?

Do you think you can achieve Dean's List for this semester?

The university students should be familiar with the Dean's list term .The dean's list is a category of students in a college or university who achieve high grades during their stay in an academic term. There is why and why not for me to think that I can achieve Dean's List for this semester. Let us take a look on this :

Why that I think I can achieve Dean's list for this semester ?
1. Senior told us that the subject taken is much easier than the last semester , so we are expected to score the highest GPA ( Grade Pointer Average )  so that this GPA will help to improve our CGPA ( Cumulative Grade Pointer Average) in our final semester . There are also subjects that we have taken during our former days in matriculation or STPM level, so that we hope that we might understand the lesson and recall back the facts that are forgotten.
2 . I believes that many of junior students have a lot of free time to study because there are not much problem to deal with co-curriculum as they are still do not  get important position in any club or organization. So, they have enough time to revise and do the task that are given by the lecturer regarding the facts that they are still have to join in several club activities .

Why not that I think I can achieve Dean's list for this semester ?
1.I think the main reason which cross in my mind is that I cannot spends my time wisely and hanging out with friends. So, we tend to hear what our friend said and do what our friend did rather than hear our parent`s advice that usually be forgotten once we ring off the phone call from them. I do not said all the junior student are like that, but some of us may face culture shock and some are still unable to adapt with the new environment here. That can really affect our study from the time being .

Raya breaks!!!!

Raya breaks?Wow,I cannot believes I am gonna coming home soon. It is quiet long since I have been here, in the UNIKL MICET. I am so excited until I cannot sleeps well, almost every night. To make sure my short breaks beneficial, I am always reminds myself to plans my schedule well. For that reason, I am gonna fills up my holidays with such benefit things. First at all, I am gonna make a visits to my relative members as well as my friends houses during Eids Day. Since I have not seen them for a long time, I guess it is the best time to strengthen back our relationship. Well, at least it is a good thing rather than watching television all the day besides sleeping without doing anything, right? But most importantly, I wants to spends much more times with my family, doing anything together, as long as I am be with them. You know why?? Because I am totally miss them very much...

Challenges during Ramadhan

We definitely sure every muslim , no matter how long they have been fasting face a few challenges during Ramadhan . It is 21 days of Ramadhan and we are notice to find it difficult and we do not find the solution yet .

1.Cannot sleep after `sahur`
I am so awake and alert after sahur. Usually, I would take an hour to let the food settle and would be on my way to dreamland . But since day 1 of this Ramadhan , I cannot fall asleep after sahur and I have only manage to get tired in the afternoon and catch up on sleep then ( in class ) . It is really troubling me because I get so weak and tired throughout the day.
2.Get thirsty
I cannot drink for 12 hours . This is the fact that my friends and I had to accept yet we find it so difficult to do it . I have been drinking a lot of water in the past few years and when Ramadhan comes, I feel so thirsty .
3.Get bad temper
This happen every year without fail. It is terrified when I have no food in me, or little sleep, I get agitated so easily . If I miss my stationary or forgets something important to bring into class, there could drives me crazy.

For me , Ramadhan is actually  a wake up call on its own way . We have to refrain ourselves of the thought that there are meals in the refrigerator untouch or our younger brother licking a lollipop or an ice cream in front of us ...Honestly, it is really frustrating. But, if you have not go through all this situation, how will you know your limit of patience??

Let Ease World Hunger Now!!!

Imagine living live not knowing where your next meal was going to come from, or if it was going to come at all. If you are reading this, you are among the LUCKY ones who do not have to face that daily challenge.
As human beings, we have a responsibility to end world hunger and ensure that abundant food and clean drinking water are available to all. One of the best way we could do is by joining the CHARITY ORGANISATIONS!
How can charity organisations help ease the world hunger?? Well... by joining this organisations like MERCY and Yayasan Salam, we can personally distribute foods and water with our own hand. Basically, collecting and delivering food and clean water to people who are starving and malnourished is a step that needs to be taken immediately!
Not only basis sources, helping in education should also be taken seriously! Through the education, we not only teaching people there how to farm and collect clean water, but also fundamental skills which they can apply, so they can earn their share of the food supply.

As a big family, we should contribute to the success of the entire family. Be good, think good and do good. This is the way of global happiness.......

Suffering during RAMADHAN?

Ramadhan's month now! We are so excited as this month is a special month especially for Muslims since all of us compulsory to fasting through this month. But there are some challenges that we must faced. The big challenge for us is we are easily get thirsty. Water, water, water! It is due as our tutorial and lectures halls are quite far from the hostel. Imagine that at 12 at noon, we are walking under the bright, shiny sun to go to the class. That is why almost of us seemed exhausted during that time. But, we must face it to gain new knowledge and to achieve success in our study. We must be strong and prepared well mentally and physically to go through this. But, we learn something from this experience. We can feel how our relatives at Afganistan and Palestin suffered of lacking of food and water. We just face it about 13 to 14 hours but they must face it for the whole month. So, we feel so grateful as we live in a peaceful country and can live happily without suffering anything.

World Hunger..Can We Stop It??

We often hear about people`s desire to solve world hunger, or to be able to feed the world. But, do you really know what is really means by the term `WORLD HUNGER`??
As we can hear what have been happen in the East Africa, especially in Ethiopia, Somalia and Kenya, where the people there encounter the world`s worst food crisis since a few years ago. How pitiful to see those less fortunate suffering from inadequate food supply...
Will we just look and do nothing?? Well, it is the time to take proactive actions to ease world hunger from becoming more serious.
As a student, there is nothing much that we can do compared to the volunteers in those countries who helping the civilians there. But more importantly, we can try in the other ways. The first one is we can post a website. What I really mean is website which contains all the important stuffs in it, like the date for fundraisers, what you are supporting, contact information and others. But remember, do not make it too flashy.
You can also set a date and spread the news. Who knows? You may make it on TV!
Apart of that, you could donate some of the profits to a foundation similar to your beliefs. Just keep it up and you may help the area reduce the number of starving dramatically, and that is just the beginning!
After reading this, you should be grateful because you are among the lucky ones who do not have to face such the daily challenge in your life; which starving for foods for survivals!

CHOCOLATE?? DIET OR FAT?

"Chocolate? Thanks, but I am in diet"... We always heard this especially from girls... Why we set in our mind that chocolate always make us fat and contains a lot of cholesterol? In facts, chocolate especially the dark one give us many secret's benefits. Chocolate contains over 300 chemicals and it's source, cacao contains antibacterial agents that fight tooth decay. It also CHAMPION antioxidant that can protect our body from aging caused by free radicals. So, if you want to look younger, you must be number one chocolate's fan. Chocolate also help us to avoid heart disease as it lowers the blood pressure and also lowers the cholesterol in our body. Chocolate can make us feel pleasure as it stimulates endorphin productions and also contains serotonin which acts as anti-depressant. One of the facts that you might not know, Mexican healers use chocolate to treat bronchitis and insect bites. If you want to diminish appetite, just drink a cup of hot yummy chocolate before meals. And for MAN, if you eat this, you may live a year longer than those who don't. People also said that eating chocolate may cause addiction, it is a WRONG statement. You are in good company if you are a fan of chocolate.

WATER!!!

The day has came as we finally became one of a student in UNIKL MICET. Awesome! That is a single phrase that we can describe about MSR`s week. The campus environment, academic divisions, facilitators and also new students; all of them are so amazing. Unfortunately, everything turned to be a bit frustrating as the water supply started to decrease at the beginning of MSR`s programs. The water shortage takes about five days starting from 17 July until 21 July 2011. A lot of programs that going to be conducted cannot be settled down, for example outdoor games. This make us a little bit frustrated and annoyed. Our enjoyment decreased only because of the water shortage. On the rest of new days, still; there is no good news regarding this matter. Moreover, the popular statement during the MSR`s week was absolutely just one word; `water`. The report has been done. One of an important pipe outside the campus has been leaked, thus affect the water supply in the regions. Even though there is a lorry tank which supplied water for our comfort, there is still a bit sadness as we lost a little of the program, especially the exercising times. At the end of the MSR`s week, water supply finally recovered. But perhaps, that is will be our great and precious moment in our life as a new Bachelor student in the UNIKL MICET during orientation`s week since most of us gave our best commitment during the programs.

MSR's week

What is MSR? MSR is a “Minggu Silaturrahim” or as known as orientation week. There are about 400 new students including us take part in this programme. It  started on July 17, beginning at 6:00 pm until July 21 at about 2.00 pm. Various activities were held during the orientation week including talks about loans, the financial talks and programme with one of the most respected figures, Feriz Omar. During the week, all students were divided into 24 groups. All groups are given names based on name of chemicals like Potassium, Krypton and Xenon. There are about ten to twelve students per team. At the beginning, all students were embarrassed to greet, but after entering the second day, we started to greet and meet each other. The group training’s activities has given a lot of positive impact on students such as increase self-confidence, trainning on how to communicate more effectively and to foster tolerance and helping one another. Each group is assisted by two facilitators of the students UNIKL MICET (Universiti Kuala Lumpur, Malaysian Institute of Chemical and Bioengineering Technology), who is pursuing the third semester to semester five of diplomas and semester three to seven for the degree. MSR week gave a thousand memories to all of us and we hope that the relation between all participants and facilitators will be last forever.
